In The Wild highlights our favored spots in nature in Westminster, Maryland. All of our pieces utilize nature-inspired aspects, such as certain colors being used or the actual objects within the art pieces. Nature is something that ties us together, as we find ourselves at peace when we get to be outside. We decided to keep our pieces all related to this idea, so that they worked cohesively with each other. Our photos are places on and around the McDaniel College Campus. Outside is where we reset both the body and mind. It's important to see all the details outside, as beauty can be found everywhere. The small details of nature that are often overlooked are essential, since every individual part plays a role in the cycle of life. The world will always keep spinning, and nature will always be there to hold and support us on the days that we can't. Nature is subjective to everyone individually; however it always serves as a reminder to slow down, and to appreciate everything. Nature holds many nostalgic memories such as when you're playing outside as a kid, or an exotic trip you once went on or dream to go on. Nature is a reminder to reminisce, explore, and live in the moment.
